Audi Q3: Heating, Ventilation

Component Location Overview - Heating

Component Location Overview - Components Outside of Passenger Compartment

  Note

  • At the start of production, only one Air Conditioning (A/C) system was offered for the Audi Q3.
  • From MY 2014 as a running change, a heater without an A/C system is also offered for certain vehicles.
  • The fresh air intake in the plenum chamber is the same as on a vehicle with a manual climate control system. Refer to → Chapter "Component Location Overview - Components Outside of Passenger Compartment, Front Component Group 2".

All necessary information for servicing the heater can be found in the → Rep. Gr. 87 "Air Conditioning". Observe the following

  • The heater, related actuators and air guides resembles those on a vehicle with a manual climate control system. Refer to → Chapter "Component Location Overview - Components Outside of Passenger Compartment", → Chapter "Overview - Heater and A/C Unit Attachments and Air Intake Housing" and the Parts Catalog. However, the connections for the missing refrigerant lines on the expansion valve are sealed with a closure cap.
