Note
Always replace corroded bolts/nuts.

2 - Shear Bolt
Tighten the shear bolt until head shears off

Always replace if removed
Clean the threaded hSEE MORE:
Adding engine oil

Observe the safety precautions.
Turn the engine off.
Open the hood.
Unscrew the cap for the
engine oil filler
opening fig. 149.
Carefully add 0.5 quart (0.5 liter) of the correct
oil.
Check the oil level again after
Drive Axle, Removing and Installing, Left Drive Axle with CV Joint, Inserted
with Inner Splines

Puller - Driveshaft -T10382-
Torque Wrench 1332 40-200Nm -VAG1332-
Slide Hammer Set -VW771-
Removing
- Loosen the drive axle threaded connection on the wheel side.
